莎拉國 and its president

Well, I’ll keep this brief for now.

This is my writing blog, which means I shall post my various works of fiction for your enjoyment.  Feel free to read and comment.

About me…

I’m a world traveler, American in origin.  My dream is to travel the world and meet interesting people, all the while studying the languages of the places I go.  I currently reside in the US as I finish my last year of college.  Next year I plan on moving back to Taiwan for graduate school and a master’s in Chinese.  I love many things among which include reading, writing, studying languages, making friends, having stimulating conversations, S.H.E, Asian dramas and entertainment, cheese, vegetables, hummus, Asian cuisine, wine, running, animals, Africa, airports, singing KTV, nightmarkets, coffee, tea, fruit, bread, sweets, rubber ducks, flamingos, music of all types, France, rainbows, scarves, cornfields, old movies, old Hollywood, French movies, history, linguistics, Grinnell, Saint’s Rest, the coffee shop in Iowa City, hot weather (preferably above 35C), Asia, Taiwan, India, Singapore, Switzerland, Latin America, pasta, the Chinese and French languages, confusing people, challenging people’s thoughts and stereotypes, etc.

I also have my own country, 莎拉國.  Essentially because I’ve lived in so many places, I don’t quite know how to identify myself.  Any place I live (even Texas) becomes a part of me.  In an effort to create a place I can permanently belong, I started a country.  It’s also a place where I can escape the cruelty of reality and cherish my unrealistic ideals.  莎拉國 also has its own language, 莎拉語, which mixes together French, English, and Chinese thus far.
